How to QC on Sugargoo
Quality Control (QC) is the most critical step in your Sugargoo workflow. These inspection photos are your only chance to catch flaws before international shipping. A thorough QC process saves money, time, and disappointment.
The Complete QC Checklist
For shoes: Check toe box shape, heel cup symmetry, swoosh placement, tongue label alignment, insole text, outsole texture, and stitching consistency. For clothing: Verify logo embroidery density, print alignment, tag accuracy, stitching quality, fabric weight, and zipper smoothness. For accessories: Inspect hardware engraving, strap alignment, magnet strength, and interior lining quality.
Common Flaws by Category
Shoes frequently show misaligned toe boxes, thick tongues, and off-color midsoles. Clothing issues include crooked prints, loose threads, and inaccurate size tags. Accessories often have shallow engravings, weak magnets, and mismatched hardware finishes.
When to Approve vs Exchange
Approve minor cosmetic flaws that do not affect wearability. Exchange items with structural defects, size errors, or major color inaccuracies. Use the RL (Red Light) tag when requesting exchanges. Document your reason with specific photo references.
| Item Type | Critical Checks | Acceptable Flaws | Exchange Triggers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shoes | Shape, color, stitching | Minor glue marks | Wrong size, major color shift |
| Hoodies | Logo, tags, fabric | Loose thread | Crooked logo, wrong material |
| T-Shirts | Print, collar, tags | Slight print offset | Missing print, wrong size |
| Accessories | Hardware, engraving | Minor scratches | Broken clasp, wrong color |
