QC Mistakes to Avoid

Even experienced buyers make QC mistakes that cost time and money. This guide covers the most frequent errors we see in community submissions, along with prevention strategies that protect your haul.

Rushing the Approval

The #1 mistake is approving within minutes of photos arriving. Take at least 10 minutes to compare against retail reference images. Open multiple tabs side by side. Zoom into detail areas. Sleep on it if unsure. Rushed approvals lead to 60% of buyer regrets.

Ignoring Context Photos

Agents include contextual shots for a reason. The ruler shot confirms dimensions. The tag photo verifies factory batch. The packaging shot checks for damage. Skipping these context images misses half the inspection value.

Not Checking Size Measurements

Chinese sizing runs smaller than US/EU standards. Always compare the agent's measurement photos against the size chart you ordered from. A "Large" hoodie may measure as a US Medium. Measurements do not lie; tags do.

FAQ

What is the biggest QC mistake beginners make?

Approving without comparing to retail photos. Always have reference images open in another tab before judging QC shots.

Should I RL over minor flaws?

Only RL flaws visible during normal wear. Microscopic issues detectable only in macro shots are not worth the exchange hassle.
